February 2019 we received our yearly order from our eastern states re-seller to be delivered by the last week in July 2019.
Mid June 2019 we were contacted by a liquidator informing us they are cancelling our eastern states re-seller order as they have been placed in receivership.
We spent thousands of dollars buying Jarrah and other materials, three months of work and other than a small 5% deposit no money in our bank account for all our expenses and work.
this is what we did
We had to find other outdoor shops and nurseries to sell to.
By October 2019 we sold about 25% of the pot plant holders we made, this only covered about 30% of the total material cost for this order.
next came coronavirus
March 2020 coronavirus got to Australia, the government ordered all non essential businesses to shut down but as a manufacturer we could operate with conditions.
During the next few months our monthly sales gradually decreased. By October 2020 our monthly sales for all the products we make dropped by about 90%.
selling the remaining stock
William Flynn designed his first web site in March 1991.
Since then until today December 03, 2024 we sell most products we make via our various web sites direct to the public.
So we decided to sell the remaining pot plant holders direct to the public via two of our web sites.
